¡Pokemon Red Bugcatcher Challenge!.
Welcome! This is the page for my pokemon red "Bugcatcher Challenge" This is basically a playthrough where I use only pokemon of a certain type;I allow myself to catch all of the pokemon on the region that are of the selected type, this is gen 1 though so my options in terms of team mates and movesets is pretty limited tho. Because of this, this playthrough will only focus on beating the main story of pokemon red, I don't think I'll be doing any cups on Pokemon Stadium, unfortunately I don't think I can craft a team interesting enough for it using the bug tyoes that Gen 1 gives me. - Caterpie -> Metapod -> BUtterfree (Matcha)
- Weedle -> Kakuna -> Beedrill (Lemon)
- Paras -> Parasect (Belladona)
- Scyther (Esparrago)
- Pinsir (Bellota)
- Venonat (Melocoton)
The story so far...

Our story starts in Pallet town and after discarding our starter, our future champion Attacus decides that his goal is to be the very best usign only pokemon from his favorite ti`ype: BUG. Having set his goal on the Indigo League, he meets his two first companions are Matcha the Caterpie and Lemon the Weedle. After some training while traversing Viridian Forest they fully evolve and Brock doesn't have any chance against Confusion. While traversing through Mt.Moon a third companion joins the team: Belladona the Paras, who proves to be pretty useful in defeating Misty along Lemon. Belladona evolves into parasect and decimates Lt.Surge with dig and finally the region opnes for fully exploring and catching the rest of the species available. In Celadon city Esparrago the Scyther is adopted and a helpful trainer trades Bellota the Pinsir. With these two additions, the last pokemon missing is a Venonat, found soon after, nicknamed Melocoton and with it's help Erika falls the same way as easy as the gym leaders before her.
Current Status: Some trouble seems to be stirring in Saffron so Attacus goes to investigate.
