Pokemon Pearl Playthrough: Cosmic Powers, don't give up on us! ∑(O_O;).
Welcome! This is the page for my pokemon pearl playthrough! While this is not the first time that I'm playing pokemon Pearl or 4th gen in general, it is the first file of pokemon pearl that I'm trying to complete the league and have for other facilities, shiny hunting, pokedex completion etc... My goal is to have one base file for every pokemon game and from time to time to add to the list the quirky playthroughs that I do. For this playthrough my team consists of...

Special Mentions
Because we wanted to not overlevel for the tournament in Pokemon Revolution, we had to use a pokemon that wasn't a main member of our team to battle for money and EV training and this little monkey was the MVP, with hard hitting returns he manages to get through everything that gets in his path.
This little wall was ourth 6th member while we were participating in the Pokemon Revolution colisseums! Our real 6th memeber is a bit far away and we needed a good wall to cover up some weaknesses and le me tell you, we couldn't have chosen a better pokemon! Medallón was a star, but they shone especially bright in double battles, providing great support with hypnosis, confuse ray and speed control with rock tomb. They even finished the last pokemon from the last battle, the Whishcash of the Colloseum Master, in a battle that had me really worried. Bronzor was a pokemon that I really didn't have any connection with but after this playthrough it definetly has a special place in my heart (￣ω￣)
The story so far...

Fantina was interesting to prepare for, her Mismagius had a supper effective move for all of our pokemon between Psybeam, Magical Leaf and Shadow ball so we had to make sure to prepare accordingly. Nerd's ability to learn Night Slash made her the perfect pick, we poisoned her before the battle to trigger her guts abiitliy and started the battle with papa asá. He first set up stealth rocka against Drifblim, managing to defeat it but falling to gengar, this is where Nerd enters the stage. Gengar falls with one fast night slash, but would we be fast enough to outspeed Mismagius? Luckily for us, Nerd has a 31 IV stat in speed and is fully EV trained in it too, managing to outspeed Mismagius almost every single time (If Mismagius had a +Speed nature I think they would've tied) and with a quick blow finished a battle that took more time to prepare than to actually do, but man how good it felt that our plan went on without any problem ╰(▔∀▔)╯

Our journey started on Twinleaf town, as any journey in Sinnoh starts, and while we chose turtwig as our starter soon our first members: Bok Choy and Papa asá joined the team and started composing our main party. Roark was easiliy defeated by Bok Choy, letting us advance to floaroma town. ¡We soon got ourselves very lucky and got a traded Heracross from the Jhoto region! (I wanted to find one using the Honey Trees but I didn't know how to skip the 6h wait time yet so I decided to use a Heartgold savefile to get one from Azalea) The first few important battles were pretty tough, Nerd surpassed the obedience threshold and made some battles against comander saturn and jupiter harder they shoudl've. This didn't impede us get to our 2nd gym, battling Gardenia and finding Chingling (Bell Pepper) as our 4th party member. This stretch of the game has been the longest so far and the one I have enjoyed the most, before battling Maylene or Crasher Wake we wanted to get some things done: First we had to get berries, we finally had some access to the berry master house, which meant easy farming for the stantard and EV berries. After this, we Ev trained and advanced through the story, making sure that we didn't level over 30 in order to make the first colosseums of Battle Revolution as challenging as possible. During this traing, our 5th member, Aquadeus joined us and helped soaking up experiencie while on Maylene's gym. The 3rd gym went pretty smoothly since Heracross had aerial ace, and after winning the Pokemon Battle Revolution battle modes Crasher Wake was easily handled by Bok Choy, who had already evolved into a Roselia and used Grass Knot against his bulky water types.
